1. Festival Overview

- Festival Dates: Wednesday, October 9, 2024, to Sunday, October 13, 2024 (5 days)
- Festival Venues: Gyeongbokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, and Changdeokgung Palaces

2. Eligibility
Requirements:
- Open to South Korean citizens aged 18 and over (including foreigners who can communicate in Korean)
- Participants from other regions are responsible for their own accommodation costs during the festival period.
- Must be able to attend key events and actively participate throughout the festival.
- Preference given to those proficient in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, etc.)
3. Recruitment Details
Number of Volunteers: Approximately 50 (including a minimum quota of 10 foreigners)
Volunteer Roles:
- On-site Operations Team (Offline): Assist with the on-site operations of the Palace Cultural Festival programs.
- Group Activities: Develop and manage games that engage and entertain visitors (e.g., Beat the Mascot, Palace Quiz, Photo Opportunities, etc.).

Announcement of Document Screening Results: Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM

Final Results Announcement: Friday, September 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM
Activity Schedule:
- Orientation: Monday, September 23, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Korea Press Center, 20th Floor)

5. Application Process
Online Application: Submit the application form via Google Forms.

Required Documents:
- First Round (Document Screening): Submit the completed Google Form application.
- Second Round (Interview): Virtual video interview (detailed instructions will be sent to those who pass the first round).
6. Volunteer Benefits
- Volunteer Hours: Issued based on participation hours (registration with the 1365 Volunteer Portal is mandatory).
- Certificate of Completion: Issued by the National Heritage Promotion Agency for those who meet the completion criteria (at least 10 hours of volunteer service).
- Volunteer Supplies: Special items provided for festival volunteers.
- Free Admission: Complimentary entry to Gyeongbokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, Changdeokgung Palaces, and Jongmyo Shrine during the festival period (for volunteers only).
