Ⅰ. Supporter Recruitment Overview
- Recruitment Purpose
To carry out the national mission of promoting the correct usage and development of the Korean language and to recruit supporters for the successful operation and promotion of the 2024 Hangeul Week. - Target Audience
University students who love Hangeul and are interested in Korean language culture.
* Foreign applicants must be affiliated with a university (or graduate school, language institute, etc.) and reside in Korea until at least December 2024. - Number of Recruits
A total of 20 university students. - Activity Period
From Thursday, September 19, 2024, to Friday, October 11, 2024 (about a month). - Priority Selection Criteria for Supporters
- Students majoring in Hangeul, Korean language, or literary arts, or with experience in related clubs.
- Applicants who can actively use personal SNS channels (blogs, Instagram, etc.).
- Applicants capable of video production and editing, or creating card news.
- Applicants who can participate in offline activities (missions at event locations).
- Supporter Benefits
- Issuance of a certificate of activity.
- Exposure of supporter activities through Dong-A Ilbo and Channel A's media channels.
- Provision of a small activity stipend.
Ⅱ. Recruitment and Selection
- Recruitment Plan
- Recruitment Period: Thursday, September 5, 2024, to Thursday, September 12, 2024.

- Announcement of Successful Candidates: Friday, September 13, 2024 (via individual contact).
Ⅲ. Supporter Activities
- Online Activities
- Perform 4 online missions during the activity period: Publish online posts through personal blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Follow the 2024 Hangeul Week SNS and participate in related events.
- Offline Activities
- Participate in one mission of on-site coverage and participation during the event period.
*Event period: October 4 to October 10, 2024.
Ⅳ. 2024 Hangeul Week Overview
- Event Name: 2024 Hangeul Week
- Event Period: From Friday, October 4, 2024, to Thursday, October 10, 2024 (7 days).
- Event Locations: Gwanghwamun Square, National Hangeul Museum.
- Organizers: Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, National Hangeul Museum.
Ⅴ. Schedule
- September 5, 2024 (Thursday) ~ September 12, 2024 (Thursday): Supporter recruitment announcement and email submission period.
- September 13, 2024 (Friday): Announcement of final successful candidates (via individual contact).
- September 19, 2024 (Thursday): Launch ceremony and orientation (schedule may change).
- September 19, 2024 (Thursday) ~ October 11, 2024 (Friday): Supporter activity period (weekly online and offline missions).
- October 4, 2024 (Friday) ~ October 10, 2024 (Thursday): 2024 Hangeul Week (supporter participation in the event and visits to the venue).
- After October 11, 2024: Activity evaluation and closure.
