- Position: Foreign Administrative Intern
- Number of Positions: 4
- Eligibility:
- Foreign students currently enrolled in a university located in Incheon.
- Foreign nationals who can interpret and translate between Korean and their native language (Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese are not eligible).
- Holders of a Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK) certificate of Level 4 or above (The TOPIK certificate must be valid as of the announcement date).
- Must hold a valid visa that allows for employment activities.
- Must be able to stay in Korea until the end of the employment period.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Korean, with experience in interpretation, translation, and counseling.
- Proficiency in Mongolian, Thai, Tagalog, or English is preferred.
2. Job Responsibilities and Working Conditions
- Job Responsibilities:
- Interpretation and translation related to the center's educational programs.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, program operations, and providing support for foreign nationals' counseling.
- Working Conditions:
- Contract Period: 8 weeks between September and November 2024.
- Salary: KRW 11,400 per hour (Incheon living wage for 2024).
- Working Hours: 14 hours per week, total 112 hours (Between 09:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Sunday).
- Workplace: Incheon Foreign Residents Support Center.
- Expected Start Date: September 10, 2024.
- Note: Employment may be canceled if the Ministry of Justice does not approve the work permit.
3. Selection Process and Schedule
- Selection Process:
- 1st Stage: Document Screening.
- 2nd Stage: Interview (only for those who pass the 1st stage).
- Schedule:
- Document Submission Period: August 19, 2024 (Mon) - September 2, 2024 (Mon) 17:00.
- Announcement of Document Screening Results: September 3, 2024 (Tue).
- Interview Schedule: September 5, 2024 (Thu), 10:00 - 12:00.
- Announcement of Final Results: September 6, 2024 (Fri).
- Note: The recruitment schedule may change depending on the organization’s circumstances.
4. Required Documents
- Administrative Intern Application Form (Center's template), signed by hand.
- Self-Introduction Letter (Center's template).
- TOPIK Score Certificate.
- Certificate of Enrollment (only for those with a student visa).
- Additional documents may be requested for final candidates (e.g., a copy of the Alien Registration Card).
- Note: If the content of the additional documents differs from the application, the hiring may be canceled.
5. Important Notes
- This recruitment plan is subject to change, and any changes will be individually notified to all applicants.
- The applicant is responsible for any disadvantages resulting from errors or omissions in the application.
- The results of each stage, including the document screening, will be sent via SMS, and only successful candidates will be contacted by phone. (Unsuccessful candidates will not be contacted separately).
- If the top scorer declines the position, the next highest scorer may be appointed. If there is no suitable candidate or if the total score is below 70 points, the position may not be filled.
