📢 2025 LG Household & Health Care Green Value YOUTH 4th Cohort Recruitment

🔹 Program Overview

The LG H&H Green Value YOUTH program is a youth climate action initiative co-hosted by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), the Ministry of Environment, Econow, and LG Household & Health Care.

This program focuses on encouraging young individuals to plan and implement voluntary environmental action projects by providing:

• Mentorship from UN SDGs and ESG experts
• Special lectures and financial support for activities
• Capacity-building opportunities

The goal is to develop and spread innovative ideas to combat the climate crisis and achieve carbon neutrality.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria

✅ Young teams interested in executing climate crisis solutions
✅ Teams of 4 to 7 members (born between March 1990 and March 2006)
✅ Previous Green Value YOUTH participants are also eligible to apply

📌 Application Categories

• General Category: Teams residing in South Korea
• Global Category: Teams residing overseas or foreign nationals residing in Korea (at least 50% of team members must be foreigners)

📌 Additional Requirements

• Only team applications are accepted (regardless of nationality, gender, or profession)
• Teams with 50% or more members residing abroad during the program must apply under the Global Category
• Global applicants may be required to submit proof of residence abroad
• Must be a subscriber to the Econow 365 Eco Life newsletter (Only 365 Eco Life members can apply)

🔹 Selection Process

• Application Period: March 4 (Tue) – March 18 (Tue)
• Document Screening Results: March 20 (Thu) (Announced on the Econow website & individually notified)
• Interviews: March 25 (Tue) – March 26 (Wed) (Conducted online)
• Final Selection Announcement: March 28 (Fri) (Econow website & individual notification)
• Boot Camp: April 4 (Fri) (Offline, Gangnam, Korea)

🚨 Absence from the Boot Camp will result in disqualification
🚨 Overseas participants must attend via online participation

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

✅ Candidates with a strong understanding of climate change and carbon neutrality
✅ Those who want to advocate for environmental values from a corporate perspective
✅ Individuals with experience in creating SNS content and running campaigns
✅ Applicants with skills in videography, photography, and journalism
✅ Foreign applicants proficient in Korean

  • Official launch ceremony for LG Green Value YOUTH
  • Team project plan presentations and expert mentoring
• Expert Mentoring (April – September) (Online/Offline)
  • Team activity presentations and coaching sessions with mentors
• Specialist Lectures (April – September) (Online/Offline)
  • SDGs and ESG skill-building lectures
• Green Value by YOUTH Camp (June 27 – 28, Overnight, Offline)
  • Team presentations and expert mentoring
• UNEP Beachcombing Campaign (Tide Turners Plastic Challenge)
  • Campaign participation (schedule to be announced)
• Mid-Term Report Meeting (July 19, Sat) (Online)
  • Team activity progress evaluation and mentoring
• Final Presentation & Awards Ceremony (September, Offline)
  • Team project outcomes shared, awards for outstanding teams, and program completion ceremony
• Top Performing Teams’ Eco-Friendly Training Trip (October – November, Offline)
  • Exclusive eco-study trip for outstanding teams

🚨 Teams in the Global Category will participate in online/offline alternatives for all in-person activities
🚨 Schedule may be subject to change, with further details to be announced later
🚨 All programs will be conducted in Korean

🔹 Program Content

• Planning and implementing team-led initiatives to combat the climate crisis and achieve carbon neutrality
• Participation in UNEP's Tide Turners Plastic Challenge (Beachcombing) and Green Nudge Campaign
• Green Value by YOUTH Camp in collaboration with LG Household & Health Care
• Opportunity to attend global conferences and forums with UNEP & IUCN (Optional)

🏆 Certificate of Completion (Issued jointly by UNEP, Ministry of Environment, Econow, and LG H&H)
💰 Activity Fund of KRW 1,500,000 (pre-tax) per team
