Blind is currently looking for a Community Operations Intern who can optimize the operations for our app, including content moderation and user support. The successful candidate will have an established track record of evaluating existing ops procedures, troubleshooting problem areas and designing efficient workflows that can scale. Previous work experience in content moderation, online safety or user support is desired. This person will play a vital role in improving our daily operations and enhancing the health of our online community.

Responsibilities💫

  • Operate and support Blind’s community services.
  • Make a better-connected and more engaged community by responding to operations-related support inquiries from community users about questions or issues they have.
  • Manage all public and private communities.
  • Assist in reporting operational results and deriving and suggesting insights.

Basic qualifications🔥

  • A university student expected to graduate soon or on a leave of absence.
  • Works full-time during the contract period (approximately 3 months).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Able to manage a flexible schedule based on the timezone of the US office.
  • Experience using Blind’s services and an interest in IT products.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple locations and timezones.
  • Genuine interest in building user trust and creating a healthy online community.
  • Strong understanding of the community business.

Preferred qualifications🙆🏻

  • Native Korean speaker.
  • Experience in an operational role within a community or support team.
  • Interest in various trends and great acumen for content.
  • Deep understanding about content moderation and the challenges in this space.
  • Fearless of new challenges.
