The NextGen Internship is a conversion-type internship program that provides university students with the opportunity to gain practical experience by leading real projects alongside industry professionals during their vacation period. This program is organized by Hyundai Motor Company, and outstanding interns who demonstrate excellent performance may be offered a chance for full-time employment.

Key Points of the NextGen Internship

• Program Exclusively for Students: This program is specifically designed for university students, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and kick-start their careers.
• Practical, Work-Based Experience: Interns will strengthen their job skills through real-world tasks and receive mentoring from experienced professionals while leading their projects.
• Self-Introduction Essay Questions: Applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their potential through two self-introduction essay questions, which Hyundai will use to evaluate the candidate’s abilities.
• Opportunity for Full-Time Employment: Outstanding interns who perform exceptionally well during the internship will have the opportunity to be considered for full-time positions at Hyundai Motor Company.

Application Information

• Application Period: From 9:00 AM, September 1, 2024 (Sunday) to 5:00 PM, September 14, 2024 (Saturday)
• Eligibility: Students who are expected to graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree between July and December 2025 (Applicants must be available for internships in January-February 2025)
• For International Applicants: Must be able to obtain a visa and secure residence for working in Korea
• Fields of Recruitment: Research & Development, Design, Production/Manufacturing, Business/Planning

Recruitment Process

1. Document screening
2. Interview and personality assessment
3. Announcement of internship acceptance
4. Internship period (January-February 2025, a total of 5 weeks)
5. Final acceptance announcement
6. Pre-employment medical check
7. Final onboarding
