[한국에서 첫 도전 대외활동, OO수상]
첫 대외활동 OO 활동하며 7개월 동안의 활동에서 [대외활동 결과] 제작하여 OO상을받았습니다. 총 24명의 활동자 중에서 유일한 외국인으로서, OO 산업 전문지식 및 프로젝트 별 짧은 마감 기한은 가장 큰 걸림돌이었습니다. 이 속에서 포기하지 않고, 저 스스로 목표 달성에 대한 가능성을증명하기 위해 세세한 계획을 통한 업무 효율 향상으로 어려움을 극복하였습니다.
대외활동의 과제는 시장조사를 통한 마케팅 인사이트 도출 및 콘텐츠 제작이었습니다. 처음에 정부 정책, 시장분석에 필요한 자료 분량이 많아, 필요한 정보를 얻는 데 많은 시간 투자를 하였습니다. 그리하여, 과제 수행 단계를 3단계로 나누어 어떤 단계에서 시간이 가장 소요되는지, 시간 대비 만족스러운 성과를 달성할 수 있는지 평가하였습니다. 또한, 논문, 정책, 뉴스기사등 다양한 매체의 글의 구조를 파악하려고 노력하였습니다. 글의 구조를 파악하고, 자주 사용되는 키워드 등을 활용한다면 원하는 정보를 빠르게 얻을 수 있다고 생각하였기 때문입니다. 따라서, 필요 이상의 광범위한 조사가 아닌, 원하는 주제와 관련된 키워드 위주의 데이터를 빠르게 조사할 수 있었고, 과제물제작 시간을 기존 2주일에서, 1주일로 단축시킬 수 있었습니다.
이를 통해 어려움을 직면하였을 때 문제 해결을 위해 원인을 단계별로 분석하고 해결하는 방법을 배울 수 있었고저 자신 역시 성장할 수 있다는 깨달았습니다.

도전하고 목표를 달성하는 인바디인으로 성장하고 싶습니다. 입사 후 5년 이내 중국 시장 전문가로 성장하고, 이 경험을 기반으로 10년 이내 신시장을 개척하고, 해당 지역 전문가로 성장하고 싶습니다. 저의 담당 지역 이외 국가에서 현지 고객과 시장을 직접 만나며 새로운 기회를 발굴하는 것이 참된 해외영업 사원이라고 생각하기 때문입니다.
[인바디 전문가로 성장하겠습니다]
입사 후 먼저 인바디의 제품, 시장 그리고 소비자에 대해서 전반적으로 파악하고자 합니다. 세계 각국의 대리점에게 인바디의 브랜드 메시지를 정확히 전달하기 위해서는 언어적 소통 능력뿐만 아니라 위 세 가지는 필수적인 소양이기 때문입니다.
인턴 업무 기간 동안 회사의 제품과 서비스에 대해서 파악하겠습니다. 현재 인바디는 세계 각국의 대리점과 관련 분야 전문가들을 대상으로 인바디의 가치를 전달하고 있습니다. 각 분야 전문가를 설득하고, 인바디의 제품을 소개하기 위해서는 누가보다 제품의 특성, 서비스, 그리고 차별화 포인트를 깊게 배워야 된다고 생각합니다.
이후 인바디의 각 국가 현지 대리점 현황 및 시장 상황을 적극적인 소통을 통해 파악하겠습니다. 현재 의료기기 시장은 지속적인 성장세로 신규 시장 및 기존 진출 국가 내에도 많은 기회가 존재한다고 생각합니다. 인바디의 기존 진출 국가의 특징 및 현황을 분류하여 잠재 소비자 발굴과 신규 시장에 기여하겠습니다.

중국 의료시장의 발전 속도는 매우 빠르고 세계 3대 의료기기 시장 중의 하나입니다. 또한, 최근 중국에서 소셜 미디어와 사회적 영향으로 사람들이 외모에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있으며 자기의 건강상태를 더 정확하게 파악하려고 전문성을 갖춘 바디체크 체중계에 대한 수요가 늘어나고 있습니다. 특히, 전문성이 더 높은 체성분분석기를 제공하는 헬스장이 많지 않고 있어도 측정 장소가 헬스장에 제한되니 가정용 바디체크 체중계의 인기가 점점 많아지고 있습니다. 이에 따라, 중국 시장과 중국 문화에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 인바디 체성분분석기 중국에서의 보유량과 가정용 바디체크 체중계 판매를 확대하고, 인바디 바디체크 체중계 중국 시장 전문가 되고자 합니다.

[First Challenging Activity in Korea, OO Award]
During my first external activity in Korea, I participated in the OO program for seven months, where I created [outcome of the external activity] and received the OO Award. As the only foreign participant among 24 members, the biggest obstacles were acquiring industry-specific knowledge and meeting the short project deadlines. However, I overcame these challenges by improving work efficiency through detailed planning, proving my potential to achieve my goals without giving up.
The tasks involved in this external activity were market research, deriving marketing insights, and content creation. Initially, gathering necessary information took a considerable amount of time due to the large volume of materials needed for government policy and market analysis. Therefore, I divided the task execution process into three stages to evaluate which stage consumed the most time and whether satisfactory results could be achieved relative to the time invested. Additionally, I made efforts to understand the structure of various media articles, including papers, policies, and news articles. By understanding the structure of the text and frequently used keywords, I believed I could quickly obtain the desired information. Consequently, I was able to quickly investigate data related to the desired topic using keyword-focused research rather than extensive broad research, reducing the production time from the original two weeks to one week.
Through this, I learned how to analyze the causes and solve problems step-by-step when faced with difficulties, and I realized that I could also grow as an individual.

I aspire to become a dedicated professional who embraces challenges and achieves goals at InBody. Within five years of joining the company, I aim to grow into an expert in the Chinese market, and within ten years, leverage this experience to pioneer new markets and become an expert in those regions. I believe that a true international sales professional meets local customers and markets outside their assigned region to discover new opportunities.
[Becoming an InBody Expert]
Upon joining InBody, my first goal is to comprehensively understand the company's products, market, and consumers. Effective communication of InBody's brand message to distributors worldwide requires not only language skills but also a thorough knowledge of these three aspects. During my internship, I will familiarize myself with the company's products and services. Currently, InBody communicates its value to distributors and industry professionals around the globe. To persuade these experts and introduce InBody's products, it is essential to deeply learn the product characteristics, services, and unique selling points. Subsequently, I will actively communicate to understand the status and market conditions of InBody's local distributors in each country. Given the continuous growth of the medical device market, I believe there are numerous opportunities in both new and existing markets. By categorizing the characteristics and status of countries where InBody has already established a presence, I will contribute to discovering potential consumers and developing new markets.
[Leading the Expansion of InBody in the Chinese Market]
The development speed of China's medical market is incredibly fast, making it one of the world's top three medical device markets. Additionally, recent social media trends and societal influences in China have increased people's interest in appearance and the demand for accurate health assessments using professional body composition scales. There are not many gyms that provide professional body composition analyzers, and even if they do, the measurement locations are limited to gyms, increasing the popularity of home-use body composition scales. With this trend, I plan to use my understanding of the Chinese market and culture to expand the presence of InBody body composition analyzers and home-use body composition scales in China. I aim to become an expert in the Chinese market for InBody's body composition scales.
