무역 쪽에 관심이 있었던 와중에 지인의 소개로 입사 하게 되었습니다.
• 팀에서 어떤 일을 담당하고 있나요?
원단 관련 업무를 담당 하고 있으며 develop 및 본작업 진행에 중점을 두고 있습니다.
• 업무에서 힘든 점과 보람된 점은 무엇인가요?
먼저 보람된 점은 garment에서 가장 큰 포션을 차지 하고 있는 원단 업무를 맡아 원부자재를 핸들링 함으로써 develop부터 출고까지 모든 과정이 제 손에서 이루어 지고 있다는 자부심이 있습니다. 가장 큰 포션을 차지 하기 때문에 빠르고 정확해야 한다는 점으로 매 업무에 바쁘고 정신이 없지만 힘든 상황을 해결 하였을 때의 보람과 성취감으로 매사에 정진하고 있습니다.
• 하루 일과를 소개해주세요.
출근 후 해야 할 일을 정리하고 하나씩 지워가면서 일하는 것이 업무를 빠트리지 않고 진행 할 수 있는 방법이라고 생각합니다. 할일 들을 정리 하고 업체와 현황을 파악 하고, 공장에서 불편함 없이 작업할 수 있도록 핸들링하며 각 원부자재를 발주하면서, develop 진행을 위해 상담 시간을 갖습니다. 많은 업무들을 진행 한 후에는 메모장에 지워져 간 할일 들을 보면서 뿌듯함을 느낍니다.
• 해당 직무를 수행하는데 유리한 성격이 있다면 무엇인가요?
원단업무는 develop과 손익/매출이 결정되는 중요한 업무이고 많은 업체를 상대 해야 하는 업무이기 때문에 적극적 이고 공격적인 자세가 업무에 도움이 됩니다.
• 취업 준비생에게 해당 직무를 추천한다면 그 이유는 무엇인가요?
어떤 일도 쉽고 천천히 진행 되는 일은 없다고 생각합니다. 빠르게 진행 되는 일들 속에서도 주도권을 가지고 매출/손익에 큰 영향을 주는 주요 업무를 하고 싶다면 한세실업의 원단 담당자가 되어 보는 것이 어떨까요.

저희 6A본부 3부 1팀은 Woven team으로 JC Penney, Target, Walmart, Polo 오더를 진행하고 있습니다. 카리스마 있고 박력 넘치는 박팀장님 지휘 하에, 유쾌한 소팀장님들, 댄싱 머신, 한세 밴드의 보컬, 양말패션의 선두주자인 모 주임, 귀여운 인턴이 함께 뭉쳐 파이팅 넘치는 모습으로 단합하고 있습니다.
• 팀에서 어떤 일을 담당하고 있나요?
저는 Target brand를 담당하고 있으며, development 단계의 샘플링부터 production을 위한 원단, 부자재 관리 업무를 하고 있습니다. 처음 buyer로부터 develop 요청을 받으면 패턴 및 샘플을 제작하고 이후 오더로 연결되면 원/부자재 발주 및 공장으로 자재를 보내기 위한 통관 업무를 진행하며 소위 말하는 디테일러로서의 역할을 하고 있습니다.
• 어떤 전공을 하셨고, 전공이 업무에서 어떤 도움이 되나요?
의류학을 전공하였고, 관련 업종이다 보니 샘플을 만들 때나 원단을 접할 때 친숙하게 와 닿았습니다. 예를 들면 옷의 구조나 원단, 기본적인 봉제 용어들을 조금 알고 있으니, garment sample을 만들 때 봉제하시는 실장님들과의 의사소통이 더 쉬웠습니다. 하지만 어떻게 보면 전공이 업무에 도움이 준 부분은 극히 일부일 뿐, 실무를 접하고 직접 몸으로 부딪히면서 배우는 부분이 더 많았습니다. 대학 시절 어떤 공부를 했든, 입사하면 0에서부터 시작한다는 마음으로 일을 배우려는 태도가 더 중요하다고 생각합니다.
• 맡고 계신 업무에서 필요로 하는 역량이 무엇인가요?
디테일러 업무를 위해 가장 중요한 것은 꼼꼼함이 바탕이 된 multi-play가 가능해야 합니다. 동시에 여러 가지의 일을 진행해야 하고, 내가 하고 있는 일들을 기억하고 있어야 하는데, 자칫 사소한 부분이라도 놓치면 곧 사고로 연결되어 금전적, 시간적 손실이 발생될 수 있습니다. 오늘 할 일과, 언제까지 무엇을 해야 하는지 등을 적어 놓는 습관을 가지면서, 신속하게 업무 처리하는 능력까지 겸비한다면 더할 나위 없을 것 같습니다.
• 개인적인 목표가 있다면 무엇인가요?
지금은 주어진 나의 역할에 최선을 다하며 더 많은 것을 배우고 역량을 기르고 싶습니다. 추후 팀장이 되고 임원급까지 올라가게 된다면, 현재 의류에 특화되어 있는 수출 사업 아이템의 폭을 accessary, shoes 등으로 확대시켜 더 경쟁력을 가진 vendor로 성장하는데 기여하고 싶습니다.
• 한세실업에 지원하시는 분들에게 하고 싶으신 말씀이 있다면?
자신의 전공과 관련이 없어 내가 잘 해낼 수 있을까 하는 걱정에 지원을 망설이시는 분이 있다면, 고민하지 말고 자신 있게 도전하라고 말씀 드리고 싶습니다. 한세실업에는 의류, 패션에 대한 관심과 열정만으로 들어온 분들도 많고, 기본 지식이 없더라도 실무에서 배워나가며 성장하면 됩니다. 중요한 것은 내가 이 회사에서 잘 할 수 있는 일이 무엇인지 생각해보고, 연봉만 보고 지원하는 것이 아니라 내가 추구하는 가치를 이 회사에서 이루겠다라는 어떠한 목표를 가지고 시작한다면 더 즐거운 회사 생활을 보낼 수 있을 것입니다.

Hello, I am an assistant manager in the Export 3B53 team, responsible for fabric-related tasks.
• How did you come to join Hansae Co., Ltd.?
I was interested in trade, and I got the opportunity to join Hansae through the introduction of a friend.
• What do you do in your team?
I handle tasks related to fabrics, focusing primarily on development and main production work.
• What are the challenges and rewards in your job?
One of the rewarding aspects is the pride I take in managing fabric-related tasks, which constitute a significant portion of garment production. Handling raw materials and overseeing the entire process from development to shipping is a point of pride for me. Since it is such a large portion, there is a constant need for speed and accuracy, making my work busy and demanding. However, I am motivated by the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment I get from resolving challenging situations.
• Please describe your typical day at work.
I believe that organizing my tasks in the morning and checking them off one by one is the best way to ensure nothing is missed. After listing my tasks, I assess the current status with suppliers, manage the production process at the factory to prevent any issues, place orders for each raw material, and conduct consultations for development progress. After completing numerous tasks, I feel a sense of satisfaction as I see the completed items checked off my notepad.
• What personality traits are advantageous for this role?
Fabric work is crucial as it determines development, profit, and sales. Since this job involves dealing with numerous suppliers, being proactive and assertive is beneficial.
• Why would you recommend this role to job seekers?

Hello, I've been with Hansae Co., Ltd. for two and a half years.
• Please introduce your team.
Our team, Division 6A, Department 3, Team 1, is a woven team handling orders for JC Penney, Target, Walmart, and Polo. Under the charismatic and dynamic leadership of our team leader, Park, we work energetically with our cheerful sub-team leaders, a dancing machine, the vocal lead of the Hansae band, the trendsetter in sock fashion, and our cute intern, all coming together to create a unified and high-spirited team.
• What do you handle in your team?
I am responsible for the Target brand, managing everything from sampling at the development stage to handling fabrics and accessories for production. When I receive a development request from a buyer, I create patterns and samples. If the project proceeds to an order, I handle raw material and accessory orders, as well as customs clearance to send materials to the factory, acting as what we commonly refer to as a detailer.
• What did you major in, and how does it help in your work?
I majored in clothing and textiles, which makes me feel more familiar with samples and fabrics since the industry is related. For example, having some knowledge of garment structure, fabrics, and basic sewing terms made communication with the sewing supervisors easier when creating garment samples. However, in reality, my major has only provided limited help, and I have learned much more by being involved in the actual work and learning through hands-on experience. Regardless of what you studied in college, having the mindset to start from scratch and learn on the job is more important.
• What skills are required for your role?
For a detailer, it’s crucial to have meticulousness as a foundation for multitasking. You need to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and keep track of what you're doing, as missing even a minor detail can lead to financial and time-related losses. Developing the habit of noting down what needs to be done and by when, along with the ability to handle tasks swiftly, would be invaluable.
• What are your personal goals?
For now, I want to focus on doing my best in my current role, learning more, and developing my skills. In the future, as I advance to a team leader or even an executive position, I aim to expand the scope of export business items currently focused on clothing to include accessories, shoes, etc., contributing to the growth of Hansae as a more competitive vendor.
• Do you have any advice for those considering applying to Hansae Co., Ltd.?
If you're hesitant to apply because you're worried that your major is unrelated, I encourage you to challenge yourself confidently. Many people at Hansae have joined with only a passion for clothing and fashion. Even without fundamental knowledge, you can learn and grow through practical experience. The key is to think about what you can excel at within the company, and rather than applying solely for salary considerations, having a goal of achieving the values you pursue within the company will lead to a more enjoyable work life.
