현대건설과 함께 K건설의 경쟁력을 세계에 증명하고 싶습니다. 작년 현대건설은 중국 최대 건설사 CSCEC와 파트너십을 구축하며 해외시장에도 적극적으로 진출하고 있습니다. 이에 앞으로 중국 내 파트너사, JV 그리고 컨소시엄을 통한 중국 내 공사 입찰 기회가 많을 것이라 생각합니다. 이러한 협력관계에서 현대건설의 글로벌 마케터로서 파트너사, 협의체와의 소통역량과 시장조사 역량이 중요하다고 생각합니다. 목표 국가 내 원활한 신규 공사 기회 발굴을 위해선 파트너사와의 협력과 입찰 지원 업무가 중요하기 때문입니다.

[성장과정]
중국 대학교에서 한국어를 공부하면서 한국과 중국 상호 교류를 통한 양국의 성장에 기여하고자 다짐하였습니다. 이를 위해 대학교에서는 중국 내 한국 법인에서 근무하며 한국의 업무 및 문화를 배우기 위해서 노력하였습니다. 그러나, OO 중국 법인에서 인턴을 했을 당시 한국인 주재원분과 소통하는 과정에서 제 한국어 능력이 부족하다는 것을 느꼈습니다. 중국에서 책으로만 배웠던 한국어와 업무에서 활용되는 한국어는 상당히 달랐습니다. 그리하여, 더 넓은 세상을 바라보는 마음으로 한국을 더 알아보고자 2022년에 한국에 유학을 왔습니다. 2년 동안의 석사 공부 및 한국 직장 인턴과 대외활동을 통해 한국을 더 배우기 위해서 노력하였습니다. 이 경험 속에서 책을 넘어 다양한 분야 및 업무에서 한국 문화에 대한 이해와 및 커뮤니케이션 능력일 키울 수 있었고, 이를 기반으로 한국과 중국의 상호 교류에 기여하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.
[현대건설 人 되기 위해 도전정신을 키웠습니다]
[OO 대외활동] 활동하며 6개월 동안 [대외활동 결과]로 OO 모범상을 받았습니다. 유일한 외국인으로서, 산업 전문지식 및 프로젝트별 짧은 마감 기한은 큰 도전이었습니다. 이 과정에서 포기하지 않고, 활동 수료라는 목표 달성의 가능성을 증명하기 위해 세세한 계획을 통한 업무 효율을 향상하여 어려움을 극복하였습니다.
대외활동의 과제는 시장조사를 통한 마케팅 인사이트 도출 및 콘텐츠 제작이었습니다. 처음에 정보를 탐색하는 데 시간 관리가 어려웠으며 자료량이 많아, 정보를 얻는 데 많은 시간 투자를 하였습니다. 그리하여, 과제 수행 과정을 3단계로 나누어 어떤 단계에서 시간이 가장 소요되는지, 시간 대비 만족스러운 성과를 달성할 수 있는지 평가하였습니다. 또한, 효율 향상을 위해, 논문, 뉴스 등 매체의 글의 구조를 파악하려고 노력하였고, 자주 사용되는 키워드를 알 수 있었습니다. 따라서, 광범위한 조사가 아닌, 주제와 관련된 조사를 할 수 있게 되었고, 제작 시간을 기존 2주일에서, 1주일로 단축할 수 있었습니다.

[Motivation for Application]
I want to prove the competitiveness of Korean construction to the world with Hyundai Engineering & Construction. Last year, Hyundai E&C established a partnership with CSCEC, the largest construction company in China, actively expanding into overseas markets. I believe there will be many opportunities for project bids in China through local partners, joint ventures, and consortiums. In these cooperative relationships, communication skills and market research capabilities with partners and associations are crucial for a global marketer at Hyundai E&C. This is because cooperation and bid support with partners are essential for smoothly discovering new project opportunities in the target countries. I have experience contributing to smooth coalition building by assisting communication between the Korean headquarters and the Chinese subsidiary while working at OO and OO. Additionally, as the only foreign participant in the Korean OO external activities, I learned the importance of communication skills with relevant cooperating organizations beyond just teamwork, winning the OO award while achieving common goals with team members. Based on these experiences, I aim to contribute to the development and marketing work necessary for discovering and securing new projects by cooperating with Hyundai E&C's overseas branches. During my external activities, I also conducted market research in the OO market with team members. Through this, I investigated the latest policies and consumer market trends in China and Korea, contributing to the extraction of OO marketing insights. As the only foreigner among the entire personnel, I produced content on the OO industry and environment with team members. Over six months, [details about the outcome], I learned specific methods of market research and how to quickly acquire necessary information from vast data and derive insights.
[Growth Process]
While studying Korean at a university in China, I decided to contribute to the growth of both countries through mutual exchanges between Korea and China. To this end, I worked at Korean subsidiaries in China during university, striving to learn about Korean business practices and culture. However, during my internship at the OO Chinese subsidiary, I realized my Korean proficiency was insufficient when communicating with Korean expatriates. The Korean I learned from books in China was quite different from the Korean used in the workplace. Therefore, with a broader perspective in mind, I came to Korea to study in 2022. During the two years of my master's studies, internships, and external activities in Korea, I strived to learn more about Korea. Through these experiences, I was able to enhance my understanding of Korean culture and communication skills in various fields and jobs beyond books, and I am working to contribute to mutual exchanges between Korea and China based on this foundation.

[I Fostered a Challenging Spirit to Become a Hyundai E&C Person]
During the [OO external activities], I received the OO Model Award as a result of [external activity outcome] over six months. As the only foreigner, the industry expertise and short deadlines for each project were significant challenges. In this process, to prove the possibility of achieving the goal of completing the activities, I improved work efficiency through detailed planning and overcame difficulties without giving up. The task of the external activity was to derive marketing insights and create content through market research. Initially, managing time was challenging while searching for information, and I invested a lot of time obtaining information due to the large volume of materials. Therefore, I divided the task execution process into three stages to evaluate which stage took the most time and whether satisfactory results could be achieved compared to the time invested. To improve efficiency, I also tried to understand the structure of articles in media such as papers and news, and I was able to identify frequently used keywords. As a result, I was able to conduct research related to the topic rather than extensive research, and I reduced the production time from the existing two weeks to one week.
