저는한국에서의 학업 및 경험을 통해 쌓은 지식으로 사람의 니즈를 이해하고 그에 맞는 마케팅 플랜과 기획을 실행할 수 있습니다. 대학교에서 문화콘텐츠 비즈니스를 전공하면서, 특히 한국에 있는 외국인유학생을 위한 모바일 커뮤니티 앱 개발 프로젝트를 주도적으로 진행한 경험이 있습니다. 이 프로젝트에서저는 초기 시장 조사부터 실제 고객의 니즈를 분석하고 비즈니스 캔버스를 활용해 기획했습니다.
실제로기획 초기 단계에서는 한국에 거주하는 외국인 유학생 20명으로 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 통해 한국유학에 대한 정보의 부족, 유학생끼리의 네트워크 부족 등 실질적으로 해결이 필요한 문제점을 알 수 있었습니다. 이 시장 조사의 결과를 기반으로 유학생들이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하는 기능에 대해 기획하였으며, 그 중에서 전문가 1:1 채팅 상담 기능, 생활 정보 안내 시스템, 친구 추가 및 My Topic 기능, 학업 도우미 기능 등의 서비스를 구축했습니다.
퍼시스그룹에입사 후, 이러한 경험을 바탕으로 일본 고객 니즈를 도출하여 일본 시장에 맞는 마케팅 기획과 서비스를구축할 계획입니다. 일본 내 주요 이커머스인 라쿠텐과 아마존에서 브랜드만이 가지고 있는 고유 가치를제안하고 강화 시키기 위해 그에 필요한 마케팅 전략을 세말한 분석을 통해 기획하고자 합니다. 특히 일본소비자의 니즈와 구매 패턴 등을 고려하면서 경쟁 타자와의 차별화 시킬 수 있는 전략을 진행하고자 합니다. 또한, 브랜드과 제품의 인지도를 다양한 SNS를 통해 높이고 맞춤형 프로모션제공으로 지속적인 수요를 향상시키고자 합니다.
또한, 소비자 뿐만 아니라 협력 업체 들과의 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 강력한 네트워크를 구축할 수 있습니다. 그렇기 위해 일본에 대한 문화적인 특성과 이해, 지식을 바탕으로보다 체계적인 방법으로 접근하는데 기여할 수 있을 것입니다. 이는 퍼시스그룹의 일본 시장 확대 뿐만아니라 회사 전체 발전을 위해 크게 도움이 될 것입니다.
저는 대학교내 한일 교류 학회에서 임원진 활동으로 겪은 실패 경험이 큰 교훈을 얻을 수 있었습니다. 중재자 역할을해서 한국과 일본인의 학생들 간의 교류를 증진시키는 것이 임원진을 시작한 초기의 목표였습니다. 하지만학회 참여자 수를 충분히 확보하지 못하기에 목표를 달성하는데 어려움을 겪었습니다. 그 원인은 학회 활동에대한 홍보가 충분히 이루어지지 않았던 점과 활동 목적이 명확하게 전달되지 않았기 때문이었습니다. 또한, 활동 내용이 참가자들의 기대에 미치지 못해 지속적인 활동에 대한 관심을 유지하지 못했던 점도 원인으로 들 수있었습니다.
이를 극복하기위해 먼저 학회의 활동 내용과 목적을 SNS 활용을 통해 적극적으로 홍보했습니다. 특히 일본인 유학생과 한국인 학생이 자주 이용하는 커뮤니티를 통해 학회의 활동 내용과 목적을 알리는 것을 목표로하였습니다. 또한, 참여자가 더 능동적으로 활동하기 위해사전조사를 통해 벚꽃 구경, 한일 노래 퀴즈, 신조어 퀴즈등 참가자의 의견을 반영한 다양한 프로그램을 진행하여 활동에 대한 지속적인 관심을 이끌어낼 수 있었습니다. 이러한프로그램은 한국인과 일본인이 직접 만나 서로의 문화를 깊이 알아갈 수 있는 기회를 마련했습니다.
이러한 노력은 학회의 인지도과 참여도를 높일 수 있었습니다. 실제로 참여 인원은 한국인 약 35명, 일본인 약 25명으로기존에 대비하여 세 배 이상 늘어난 결과를 얻었습니다. 저는 이 경험을 통해 초기 실패는 상공을 이루기위한 과정이자 도전이라는 것을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 목표 달성을 위해서는 문제의식과 해결능력, 적극적으로 실행하는 행동력과 팀 간의 커뮤니케이션이 중요하다는 것을 배웠습니다.
저는 이러한경험을 통해 프로젝트 성공적으로 하기 위해서는 체계적인 문제 해결 방법과 커뮤니케이션을 통해 바라볼 필요가 있다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 퍼시스그룹에 입사하면 이를 앞으로 회사 전체의 발전과 함께 한국과 일본이 서로가 성장이 가능한 기회를 제공하는데적극적으로 활용할 계획입니다.
저는 일본에 있는 대학교에 다니던 한국 대학교 진학이라는 도전적인 목표를 세웠습니다. 이 목표를 달성하기 위해 자신에 맞는 공부법을 찾아내 효율적으로 한국어 능력을 향상하는데 집중했습니다. 일상생활에서 의식적으로 한국어 사용할 수 있는 기회를 스스로 만들기 위해 한국의 예능 프로그램과 유튜브 콘텐츠를 활용하여 매일 학습하는 루틴을 구축했습니다. 이 과정에서 문법과 어휘 뿐만 아니라 보다 일상적이고 자연스러운 회화 표현을 습득하기 위해 노력했습니다.
하지만 독학만으로는 한계가 있음을 깨닫고, 실제 대학교 진학을 염두에 둔 체계적인 학습의 필요성을 느끼게 되어 OO대학교 한국어센터 일반 과정을 등록했습니다. 이곳에서 고급 수준의 한국어 문법, 발표, 자기소개서 작성 방법, 면접 등을 배웠습니다. 수업에서는 매주 주제별 토론과 발표가 있었고, 이를 통해 실제적인 한국어 사용 능력을 크게 향상시킬 수 있었습니다. 또 다양한 국적의 학생들과 교류하면서 한국어 향상 뿐만 아니라 다양한 문화적 이해를 높일 수 있는 계기가 되었습니다.
이 학습 과정을 통해 한국어 학습만 아닌 문화적인 차이에 대해 이해하고 그를 극복하는 방법도 배웠습니다. 특히 실제로 한국에서 생활과 학업을 하면서 일어났던 일들을 스스로 판단하고 해결할 수 있는 능력을 기를 수 있었습니다. 이러한 노력으로 한양대학교 문화콘텐츠학과에 합격하고 매 학기 수업료 70% 감면인 한양우수외국인장학금 수여, 입학 후에는 TOPIK6급을 취득했습니다.
저는 이러한 경함을 통해 성장을 위해 필요한 것은 무엇인지 생각하는 분석력과 그를 바로 행동으로 옮기는 추진력의 중요성, 그리고 목표 달성 과정에서 필요한 계획을 세우고 꾸준히 노력하는 끈기와 인내를 배울 수 있었습니다. 퍼시스그룹에 입사 후 이 경함과 노력으로 일본 시장에서의 지속적인 확대를 위해 다양한 문화적인 배경의 높은 이해로 한국과 일본 간의 비즈니스 교류를 보다 더 발전시키는데 이바지할 수 있을 것입니다.

Through my studies and experiences in Korea, I have gained the knowledge and skills to understand people's needs and implement marketing plans and strategies accordingly. As a Cultural Content Business major at university, I led a project to develop a mobile community app for foreign students in Korea. This project involved initial market research, analyzing actual customer needs, and using a business canvas to plan the app.
In the early planning stages, we conducted surveys and interviews with 20 foreign students living in Korea. We identified key issues such as a lack of information about studying in Korea and insufficient networking opportunities among foreign students. Based on these findings, we planned features to address these problems, including one-on-one expert chat consultations, a living information guide system, a friend-adding and My Topic feature, and a study helper function.
After joining Fursys Group, I plan to leverage these experiences to identify Japanese customer needs and develop marketing plans and services tailored to the Japanese market. By analyzing major e-commerce platforms in Japan, such as Rakuten and Amazon, I will develop marketing strategies that highlight and enhance the unique value of the brand. I will focus on differentiating from competitors by considering Japanese consumer needs and purchasing patterns. Additionally, I aim to increase brand and product awareness through various social media channels and provide customized promotions to enhance continuous demand.
Furthermore, I can build a strong network with partners through effective communication, utilizing my understanding of Japanese culture. This approach will contribute not only to Fursys Group's expansion in the Japanese market but also to the overall growth of the company.
I gained valuable lessons from my failure as an executive member of a Korea-Japan exchange club at university. My initial goal was to enhance interaction between Korean and Japanese students. However, we faced difficulties in achieving this due to insufficient promotion of club activities and unclear communication of the club's purpose. Additionally, the activities did not meet participants' expectations, leading to a lack of sustained interest.
To overcome these issues, we actively promoted the club's activities and purpose through social media, targeting communities frequented by Japanese exchange students and Korean students. We also incorporated participant feedback to create engaging programs such as cherry blossom viewing, Korean-Japanese song quizzes, and slang quizzes. These efforts provided opportunities for Korean and Japanese students to meet and understand each other's cultures more deeply.
Our efforts significantly increased the club's visibility and participation, with membership tripling to approximately 35 Koreans and 25 Japanese students. This experience taught me that initial failure is a stepping stone to success, requiring problem awareness, problem-solving abilities, proactive execution, and team communication.
I set the challenging goal of transferring from a Japanese university to a Korean university. To achieve this, I focused on improving my Korean language skills efficiently. I created opportunities to use Korean daily by watching Korean variety shows and YouTube content, learning not just grammar and vocabulary but also natural conversational expressions.
Realizing the limitations of self-study, I enrolled in the general course at the Korean Language Center at OO University. There, I learned advanced Korean grammar, presentation skills, resume writing, and interview techniques. Weekly discussions and presentations significantly improved my practical Korean skills. Interacting with students from various nationalities also enhanced my cultural understanding.
Through this learning process, I gained insights into overcoming cultural differences and developed the ability to make independent decisions and solve problems while living and studying in Korea. These efforts resulted in my admission to Hanyang University's Cultural Content Department, receiving a Hanyang Excellent Foreign Student Scholarship covering 70% of my tuition fees, and achieving TOPIK level 6 after enrollment.
This experience taught me the importance of analytical thinking, proactive execution, and persistence in achieving goals. If I join Fursys Group, I will use these skills and efforts to contribute to the continuous expansion of the Japanese market, enhancing business exchanges between Korea and Japan with a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds.
