IP Business / IP Business Planning, Development, and Operations Manager (Experienced)

The YG IP Business team engages in various projects utilizing YG's intellectual property (IP) to create tangible and intangible products. The goal is to generate new revenue streams, strengthen the artist brand, and provide new experiences to global fans, encouraging their active participation. The team plans projects that align with the company's strategy and the characteristics of the artists, executing global projects that create synergy with domestic and international partners. They continuously experiment with new business models that have not been tried before to enhance the value of YG IP and achieve impactful market results.

YG IP Business team is looking for individuals who:

Responsibilities:

‍✔ Identify new business opportunities using YG Entertainment's intellectual property, such as music and artists

✔ Negotiate contracts with domestic and international partners, review, and finalize contracts

✔ Develop new content and launch tangible and intangible products for each project

✔ Manage projects, including checking schedules, milestones, QC, RM, revenue management, and performance reviews

✔ Analyze various market trends and derive insights

Qualifications:

‍✔ Bachelor's degree with 2-10 years of relevant work experience

✔ Experience in performing IP-based business activities

✔ Experience in the entertainment/media, gaming/platform/IT, character, or licensing industries

✔ Experience executing new business ideas, product planning and development, or new business ventures

✔ Proficiency in business English

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

‍✔ Fluent in English communication

✔ Experience in successfully negotiating deals through proactive contract negotiations

✔ Experience in commerce, marketing (branding, promotion), or business strategy roles

✔ Strong numerical skills and proficiency in creating and presenting planning documents

✔ High interest in entertainment, content, fandom business, IT/new technologies

✔ Proficiency in a second foreign language (Chinese/Japanese)

Employment Type:
