Recruitment of Volunteers (Docu-ers) for the 16th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival

Eligibility
■ Qualifications

- Any Korean citizen aged 18 or older

• Individuals/Groups who value peace, communication, and life, and are interested in documentary films and film festival events
• Individuals/Groups who can actively and faithfully participate in the selection and training schedule for volunteers

- Overseas Koreans and foreigners residing in Korea (provided they can communicate in Korean)

- Individuals who can actively and faithfully participate in the event schedule and training for volunteers

- Individuals who can respect and communicate with the audience in line with the purpose of the International Documentary Film Festival

※ We are looking for Docu-ers who meet the following criteria ※

1. People interested in films and film festival events
2. People interested in documentaries
3. People who sympathize with the values of the DMZ: peace, communication, and life
4. People who can participate in volunteer activities with pride and responsibility

1. For those with commuting difficulties (more than 2 hours and 30 minutes round trip)
2. For night shift volunteers, decision made after consultation with the coordinator

- Submission of proof documents (resident registration copy)

- Recognition of volunteer activity hours (must register with the Volunteer Portal 1365)

- Issuance of documents for class absence due to volunteer activities

• Document screening results: 2024.08.19 (Mon) *Check the notice board on the website for results and individual notifications.
• Interview period: 2024.08.26 (Mon) ~ 2024.08.30 (Fri)
• Final selection announcement: 2024.09.09 (Mon) *Check the notice board on the website for results and individual notifications.

■ Activity Period

- Opening ceremony: 2024.09.23 (Mon) / Near Megabox Kintex

- Training: 2024.09.23 (Mon) / After the opening ceremony, team-specific sessions

- Activity period

1. Film Festival: 2024.09.26 (Thu) ~ 2024.10.02 (Wed) for 7 days
2. Documentary Market: 2024.09.28 (Sat) ~ 2024.10.02 (Wed) for 5 days
3. There may be pre-activities depending on the team’s tasks.
4. Must be available for at least 4 days during the above period
