Recruitment for Foreign Student Trade Camp Participants

2024 Global Trade Academy EnrollmentIntensive Program for International Students in Korea to Excel in Global Commerce

Program For:

• Foreign students currently enrolled in Korean universities (4-year programs)
  • Holders of student visas (D2)
• Holders of TOPIK Level 3 or higher or residents in Korea for more than 2 years
• Individuals aspiring to pursue a career in Korea or conduct business with Korea in their home country

Content:

• Understanding of Korean culture, society, and economy, and basics of trade practices (see detailed curriculum on the right)
• Includes export-import simulations and field trips (exhibition visits)
• All classes conducted in Korean (with partial English support if necessary)

Schedule:

• August 5th, 2024 (Monday) - August 9th, 2024 (Friday), 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (total 30 hours)

Venue:

• COEX 4th Floor Trade Academy (513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul)

Tuition:

• Free of charge

Benefits:

• Trade Academy course completion certificate, lunch provided

Curriculum:

• Day 1 (8/5): Welcome Session/Orientation, Understanding Korean Culture, Understanding Korean Society, Understanding Korean Economy and Industries, Job Searching in Korea, Introduction to Trade Practice, Introduction to Trade Contract Law
• Day 2 (8/6): Trade Practice, Export-Import Procedures and Practicum, Trade Contract Practicum, Business Negotiation and Consultation
• Day 3 (8/7): Trade Practice, Overseas Market Research & Entry Strategy, Introduction to Trade Law, Business Negotiation and Consultation, Case Studies
• Day 4 (8/8): Trade Practice, Business Plan Writing & Presentation, Overseas Market Development Project Practicum
• Day 5 (8/9): Trade Practice, Excellence Student Award, Survey
