많은 기업들은 우리 버디들의 '성장과정'에 대해 물어보는 경우가 많아요.

이 질문을 통해서 무엇을 알고 싶은 것일까요? 우리 버디들의 인생 가치관에 대해서 알고 싶은 것입니다. 우리 버디들이 어떤 가정 환경에서 자랐는 지, 어떤 좋은 스승을 만났는 지 궁금한 것이 아니에요. 버디들이 어떤 가치관을 가지고 살아가는 지에 대해 궁금한 것입니다.

잘못 작성하는 예

가족 직업에 대해서 이야기 하는 것: 기업은 우리 버디의 부모님이 어떤 직업 일을 하는 지, 어떤 교육관을 가지셨는 지 궁금하지 않아요. 정말 좋은 부모님이시더라도, 이 질문에 대한 답변으로 사용하지 말아주세요. 회사는 버디를 채용하고 싶은 것이지, 훌륭한 부모님을 채용하고 싶은 것이 아니에요.
너무 어린 시절 이야기를 하는 것: 너무 어린 시절의 경험을 작성하는 것은 추천하지 않아요. 기업이 확인할 수 없는 버디의 경험이고, 현재와 변화했을 경우가 많기 때문입니다. 경험에 대해 이야기할 때는 최대한 대학교 생활 위주로 작성해주세요.

어떻게 작성해야 할까요?

STEP 1: 자신의 인생 가치관에 대해서 설명해주세요.

Ex. 1: 도전을 통해 자신을 끊임없이 성장시키고자 합니다.
Ex. 2: 경험을 통해 더 깊이 배우고자 노력하고 있습니다.
Ex. 3: 실패에 좌절하지 않고, 이를 발판 삼아 스스로 성장하고자 합니다.

STEP 2: 버디가 이 가치관을 가지게 된 이유를 설명해주세요.

Ex. 1: 저는 스스로의 한계에 도전하며, 더 나은 사람으로 성장해 왔습니다. 이 과정 속에서 도전을 통해 성취감을 느끼고, 어제보다 더 나은 자신으로 성장하는 모습을 지켜보며 도전의 가치를 배웠습니다.
Ex. 2: 고등학생 시절 한국어와 한국에 대해서 공부하며, 이를 실제로 경험하기 위해서 한국 유학을 결정하였습니다. 이 속에서 책에서 배우지 못한 한국 문화와 한국어를 배우며 성장하면서, 경험의 가치를 깨달았습니다.

Personal Growth Journey Writing Guide

Many companies often inquire about our buddies' "personal growth journey."

What do they want to know through this question? They want to understand our buddies' life values. They're not interested in the family environment our buddies grew up in or the mentors they encountered. They are curious about the values our buddies hold and live by.

Examples of Incorrect Approaches:

Talking about family occupations: Companies are not interested in what our buddies' parents do for a living or what educational background they have. Even if they have great parents, please don't use this question to talk about them. Companies want to hire our buddies, not their parents.
Sharing childhood experiences: It's not recommended to write about experiences from a very young age. These are experiences that companies cannot verify, and they often change over time. When talking about experiences, please focus on university life as much as possible.

How should you write it?

STEP 1: Describe your life values.

Ex. 1: I strive to constantly challenge myself to grow through adversity.
Ex. 2: I endeavor to learn more deeply through experiences.
Ex. 3: I refuse to be discouraged by failure and use it as a stepping stone for self-improvement.

STEP 2: Explain why you hold these values.

Ex. 1: I have grown into a better person by pushing my limits and experiencing the satisfaction of overcoming challenges. Through this process, I've learned the value of pushing oneself and evolving into a better version each day.
Ex. 2: During high school, I studied Korean language and culture, and this led me to decide to study abroad in Korea. Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of Korean culture and language beyond what I learned from books.

STEP 3: Highlight the importance of your values through specific experiences.

Ex. 1: During my undergraduate years, I juggled a major in OO with internships, extracurricular activities, and part-time jobs. Balancing various commitments was challenging, but these experiences allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, deepening my understanding of my field.
Ex. 2: In my freshman year of college, I had the experience of giving a presentation in Korean for a course.
